The Library is trialling a 'book-a-desk' service from 4 June 2018 - 22 June 2018, with the intention of helping UWA students who have limited ability to be on campus and need to be assured of having a place to study for exams.
Eight bookable desks are available in a quiet study zone in Reid Library (First floor, near North Western stairwell).
Two timeslots per desk are available daily with bookings accepted up to 5 days in advance. The maximum booking period is one whole day or two timeslots per week, per student. You may only book for yourself, not on behalf of others.
You may book a desk if you are:
- having trouble getting to campus
- responsible for the care of others
- experiencing a physical disability
- experiencing any other factors restricting your ability to study on campus and spend time looking for a free study space
We will not check on your reasons for booking but ask you to assess your own needs and consider the needs of others. Library staff will only check that the person at the desk matches the name on the booking.
